Send in your poetry, short prose, and artwork for consideration for Tidings 2024. Deadline to submit is Sunday, December 1, 2024.

Tidings is a collection of art that celebrates the dark half of our year. It can encompass the joy of the holidays, the biting cold of a blizzard, or the elation at the first sign of Spring poking up through the snow. We want your traditions wrapped up in pretty bows, your shattered mementos, family recipies and long-held secrets.

We accept up to two pieces (you may mix mediums if you’re the multi-talented type): poems, short prose (800 words or less), photographs, and artwork.

Please send in submissions via email to sarah@domesticatedprimate.com. Please include a brief bio about yourself (100 words or less) in the body of your email.

We will be releasing Tidings digitally in time for the Winter Solstice, Friday December 20th, 2024. However, due to some big celebrations in the middle of the month (Sarah’s getting married!), the physical book will be slated for release on Friday, January 10th, 2025.
