Anomaly Poetry is excited to announce the seventh edition of our summer anthology, Rituals! Publishing on Friday, June 20th in both digital and print – we are now open for submissions of poems, short stories, photography and artwork.
The Rituals anthology series reflects on the traditions, memories and moments that connect us across generations and histories. From nostalgic poems about lost summer love to musings on what it means to carry on traditions after death, Rituals brings together artists of all mediums to help us remember what lingers on after us.
We accept up to two poems, short prose pieces (<800 words), and visual art – feel free to mix mediums within your submission. For full guidelines and the email address to send your work to, please see our Submission Guidelines page.

Starting in 2018, Anomaly Poetry and Domesticated Primate have been creating these seasonal collections of artwork to encourage new and established artists to put their work out into the world and build community. Since then, both Rituals and Tidings have become a home for artists that span across mediums as well as across the globe. We’re so excited to continue the tradition this summer.
